Auctions America by RM was founded in the summer of 2010 following the purchase of the Auburn Automotive Auction Park in Auburn, Indiana by RM Auctions. The Auburn Auction Park, one of the largest such venues in the country, hosted auctions for decades that at one time attracted tens of thousands of attendees and were possibly the largest car auctions in the world. With Auctions America, RM hopes to bring the auction park back to its glory days and make Auburn, Indiana the Classic Car Capitol of the World once again. Rounding out the Auctions America calendar is the well-established auction in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
