About Us
Hassinger & Courtney Auctioneering was formed in 1986 by Ken Hassinger & Neil Courtney, after a need was seen in this area to provide a professional auctioneering service at an affordable price. Hassinger & Courtney is family owned and operated with its staff consisting of 3 full-time auctioneers, several assistants trained in their computerized auction system, and other assistants & specialists as needed.
Hassinger & Courtney conducts an average of 90 auctions a year of real estate, antiques, & business inventories. Ken & Neil are both members of the Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association & the National Auctioneers Association. They also conduct benefit auctions for groups such as the American Red Cross, American Cancer Society, St. Judes Children’s Hospital, Penn Luthern Nursing Home, The Union County Library Association, The Ruffed Grouse Society, & Others.

Hassinger & Courtney in partnership with LiveAuctioneers.com also has the capabilities of taking an auction world-wide with the use of live internet bidding. In 2005 we conducted 16 Live-Internet auctions of Antiques & Sports Memorabilia in which we accepted thousands of bids from buyers from around the globe.
Hassinger & Courtney will conduct any type of on-site antique auction. Hassinger & Courtney also accepts, picks-up, and sells consignments of quality antiques whether that may be a single piece or an entire house lot. We offer a full service to handle estate lots which is especially advantageous for out-of-town executors and bank trusts.
