Founded in 1986, T&T Archaeological Consulting provides two distinct forms of service. Teresa Putty heads up academic and research endeavors (including artifact evaluation as it relates to authenticity and rarity). Tony Putty's efforts are focused on the commercial aspects of artifact acquisition, providing appraisal values and investment advice.

Summary of Work-Related Endeavors:

Retail artifact sales through Prehistoric Antiquities Quarterly since 1986
2.
Conducted over one hundred appraisals of artifact collections (collections valued up to $800,000)
3.
We have disseminated dozens of sizable artifact collections, acting as a consultant for either a family estate or an individual collector.
4.
Authenticated hundreds of prehistoric artifacts ranging in individual value up to $75,000
5.
We conduct our own auction services and are able to facilitate auctions of all sizes.

Assisted with the arrangement and compilation of The Archaic Bannerstone (Lutz, 2002)
7.
Wrote Birth of a Culture, a book on the Terminal Archaic Culture of Eastern Tennessee. (Putty 2004)

In addition to acquiring and placing prehistoric artifacts, our company provides advice relative to artifact investment and collection management. We also provide appraisals and authentications. We provide our clients with various avenues with which to acquire or sell artifacts. Artifacts can be sold privately, in retail publications or in an arranged auction format.
Authentication Services

Evaluations fees are twenty dollars per piece plus return shipping. All pieces found to be authentic will receive certificate printed on high quality glossy paper.
