Going, Gone Auction Gallery
After a two and one half year hiatus from auctioning, Tom O’Connor, who 14 years ago partnered the creation of a New Jersey Auction Gallery, has returned to establish his own auction house in New York City. Going, Gone! Auction Gallery’s showroom and offices are in Long Island City but upcoming auctions will be held at “The Landmark” Central Park West and 76th Street. This spacious ex-Catholic church, is a spectacular setting for the exhibition of art and antiques, with its stone arched side aisles and 19th c. stained glass windows. While the first auction will include 420 lots of fine Chinese, Japanese, American and European Art & Antiques, later sales in the planning will feature all 20th c. art, mid to late 20th c. modern furniture and art, 20th C. Latin American & Caribbean art, and more.
