Business Development/Sales
Due to the success of LiveAuctioneers within the Commercial Business, Industrial and Equipment sectors, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development/Sales Clerk.
In this position, you will combine your strong knowledge of the auction industry with contacts in the Commercial Business, Industrial and Equipment auction space to bring new accounts to LiveAuctioneers.
We are looking for self-starters who are able to manage multiple priorities; the position is target-driven, highly demanding, with a strong focus on sales. You will be required to travel to designated clients’ live sales events, and to clerk and train others. You will also provide standard administrative support in our New York City offices, when necessary.
The role of Business Development/Sales Clerkoffers a tremendous opportunity for someone with a proactive and methodical approach to work. We are seeking an enthusiastic person with prior experience in the Commercial Business, Industrial and Equipment auction industry – someone with strong computer skills and proven success in sales. We offer a competitive salary plus commission.
Ideal candidate: Operations Manager or Saleroom Manager in a Commercial Business, Industrial or Equipment auction house, with strong knowledge of both the pre- and post-auction process. Computer literate. Able to reach sales targets through current business contacts and cold calling. Knowledge of eBay Live Auctions and real-time Internet bidding.

Customer Service Manager/Sales Europe
Due to the global expansion of LiveAuctioneers, an exciting opportunity exists for a Customer Service/Sales Manager/European Representative.
In this position, you will be responsible for the accurate maintenance and support of all EU auction house accounts. You will also coordinate client support for all online auctions at LiveAuctioneers in association with eBay Live Auctions' web service. The position is demanding, requiring strong knowledge of the auction industry and keen attention to detail.
Visits to EU salerooms will be required on an ongoing basis so as to accommodate new auction house customers during the training and support process LiveAuctioneers provides to all its clients. You will also provide administrative support to the US Head Office, when necessary, and liaise closely with all EU auction houses regarding pre- and post sale support procedures.
The role of Customer Service/Sales Manager/European Representative offers an opportunity for someone with a proactive and methodical approach to work and strong customer focus. We are seeking an enthusiastic person with a proven history in the auction industry - someone with strong computer skills, the ability to talk clients through the steps required to facilitate LiveAuctioneers' services, in addition to an understanding of the auction house's own particular requirements.
Ideal candidate:-
Previous Operations Manager in an EU auction house, with strong knowledge of both the pre- and post-auction process. Computer literate. Experience in a customer service support role, with administrative ability, organizational skills and an interest in sales.
