No Reserve Estate Auction of Stamps

This collection is an estate collection from Illinois and is being sold "absolute" without reserves or minimum bids. While we will accept live bids during the online auction, bidders are STRONGLY encouraged to leave pre-bids to minimize any chance of missing specific lots due to timing and/or computer issues. BUYER'S PREMIUM AND PAYMENT: There will 15% buyer's premium added to the closing price of all lots. Sales tax in the amount of 6.75% will be charged for any lots sold to Ohio bidders unless a valid tax exempt or resale number is provided. Bidders outside of the State of Ohio may be responsible to report purchases and pay use tax under their own state or federal laws. All bidding will be in and must be paid in U.S. Dollars. Invoices will be sent on the third business day following the close of the auction. For this online auction, we accept PayPal only and will ship to only the confirmed address included with payment (see shipping terms below for more information). Invoices are due immediately upon receipt and must be paid in full before any property will be shipped from our offices. If payment is not received within 10 (ten) days from the day we email the invoice, we will place a non-paying buyer alert on the buyer's account. If payment is not received within thirty (30) days of sale, Belhorn Auction Services, LLC reserves the right to void the sale and deny future participation in future auctions. Placing a bid is a legally binding obligation; all bidders are expected to finalize their purchase after the auction pursuant to these Terms and Conditions of Sale. BIDDING INCREMENTS AND BIDDING: Belhorn Auction Services, LLC will maintain a fixed set of bidding increments. Bidders are asked to comply with these when bidding. These increments are: $1 to $10 - bid in $1 increments $10 to $30 - bid in $2 increments $30 to $100 - bid in $5 increments $100 to $250 - bid in $10 increments $250 to $1,000 - bid in $25 increments $1,000 and up - bid in $50 increments All items will be opened for bidding at $1 unless there are two or more absentee (pre-) bids, in which case the lot will open at a bid that is one increment higher than the lower of the highest two bids. Aside from the $1 starting bid on each lot, there are no reserves and/or minimum bids in this auction. ALL SALES FINAL: All sales are final; there are no returns, refunds or exchanges. SHIPPING: Belhorn Auction Services, LLC ships stamps and related items via US Postal Service as a convenience to our buyers. For Domestic (US) shipments, the cost for postage, insurance and packaging is $5.00 for the first lot purchased and $2.00 for each additional lot. For International (non-US) shipments, lots will be sent via Registered Mail (signature required), which will be determined after the auction based on the weight of the package and the buyer's address. Be advised that while we will combine lots to minimize the cost for International shipments, Registered Mail will start at approximately $15.00 per invoice and will increase based on the weight and destination of the shipment. In all cases, we will only ship to the confirmed (verified) address provided to us by PayPal. Purchases are shipped within five to seven business days from the date of full and verified payment.
