The Manhattan Art and Antiques Center is pleased to announce our first in a series of online auctions. Many of the Center’s 65 world class galleries will participate offering a diverse collection of antiques, period furniture, jewelry, silver, paintings and American, European, Asian, African and other objects of art. The Center’s Holiday Auction will be held in a one day session, on Dec. 10th. The catalog will include a collection of unusual antique, estate and fine jewelry from Melody Rogers, Josie At Place, along with Ostia Inc., one of New York’s premier jewlery dealers. A grouping of 20th century design and Lighting will be offered by the galleries of Paul Stamati, Leah Gordon, and Stern gallery. Rare objects of art, fine art, decorative arts, lighting, furniture and fine porcelain will be offered from the collections of Samuel Saidian and Sons, Hoffman Gampetro, S. Elghanayan, Alexander’s Antiques, Bijan Gallery, and Federico Carrera amongst others. While groupings of Silver will be offered by Alter Silver Gallery and Estate Silver. Terms & Conditions 1. BINDING TERMS. The lots in the catalog are offered by WolfsArt LLC, dba MAAC Auctions, as agent for its consignors. The consignors are certain galleries of the Manhattan Antique Center. Your bid is a contract between you and WolfsArt LLC and these Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between us. By bidding at auction, you agree to be bound by these terms: 2. AS IS. All lots are sold “AS IS” and we and our consignors make no guarantees, warranties or representations, expressed or implied, with respect to the property, or the correctness of the catalog except as noted below. 3. BUYER’S RECOURSE. If you believe that there was a significant error in the catalog with regard to the authenticity, period or condition of a lot you must notify WolfsArt within 30 days of the auction. We will make every effort to satisfy you; and returns or cancellations may be allowed after consultation with our consignors. In certain cases, we may request a letter from a recognized expert of a given artist or discipline. 4. WITHDRAWAL. We reserve the right to withdraw any lot before the sale. 5. BIDDING AND RESERVES. There are no reserves in this auction. All lots are offered subject to a starting bid. 6. ESTIMATES. Each lot in the catalog is given a low and high estimate representing that range which, in our opinion, is a fair and probable auction value. Actual selling prices may fall above or below this range. Sizes and weights are approximate. 7. BUYER’S PREMIUM. A buyer’s premium of 15% will be added to all bids as part of the total purchase price. 8. SALES TAX. New York State sales tax will be charged on all merchandise picked-up at the Manhattan Antique Center or shipped within New York State unless you provide us with a valid tax exemption certificate. Ownership of merchandise will transfer to you upon winning a bid and you will be responsible for arranging, and paying for, packing, shipping and insurance.
