On Thursday, October 20 at 1:30 p.m. Eastern Time, Swann Galleries will conduct sale 2053, an auction of Important 19th & 20th Century Photographs. The sale features western landscapes from the Amon G. Carter Foundation, being sold to benefit the Amon Carter Museum Acquisition Fund; a selection of vintage prints from the New York Times, including images of well-known personalities from the 1920s-30s and topical news pictures from the 1960s; and vintage prints by 20th-century masters of the medium.
