Elliot and Rosemary Offner Estate Auction

We are pleased to present at auction the estate of Rosemary Offner and her husband - artist, sculptor, printmaker, typographer and distinguished Smith College professor Elliot Offner. This fine sale includes the contents of their Washington Avenue , Northampton, MA residence as well as the studio of Elliot Offner. In addition to their furnishings and accessories, the multi-faceted artistic work of Elliot Offner will be well represented. An excellent inventory of Offner's bronze sculptures, carved wood sculptures, a marble sculpture, woodblock prints, watercolors, pencil sketches, photographic images, calligraphy, and letterpress printings will be included in the auction. The Offner estate will be complemented by artwork and furnishings from the estate of Robert E. Scully, MD, of Boston, MA as well as oriental rugs, silver, jewelry and furniture from the estate of Muriel Lowell Hoag of Longmeadow, MA. A second session of specialized coin/currency will commence at 12:30 p.m PST. This sale will include 150 lots of gold and silver coins, plus U.S. and foreign currency.
