PAYMENT: Full payments, including the 20% buyer's premium, must be received within 10 days of the sale conclusion. Payment can be made with VISA, MasterCard, checks, bank checks, and cash. Credit card information should include: 1) the card holder's name; 2) the 16 digit card number and the carrier (MasterCard, Visa etc); 3) the expiration date; and 4) the three digit security code on the back of the card. We reserve the right to clear checks before property is removed from the salesroom.
CONDITION REPORTS AND DESCRIPTIONS: Written and oral descriptions are our opinions, do not construe the cataloging as a guarantee of authenticity, age, condition, or materials. We make an honorable effort to correctly catalog all lots and attempt to point out any significant defects, but we are not responsible/liable for the correctness or completeness of the catalog or other descriptions of the lot. It's best that prospective bidders examine or have examined all items of interest at our review if possible. If this is not practicable call us at 610-722-9004 and direct your concerns to Todd or Gordon Converse. If you doubt catalog wording or meaning, we suggest you deduce the worst scenario or just do not bid. Remember that by placing a bid, you enter a legal contract wherein you guarantee your full payment in a timely fashion.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERIES: We pack and ship many of the items in this sale. Please carefully read catalog entries for specific information as to cost, etc. of packing and shipping through us. WE DO NOT AND WILL NOT INSURE ITEMS SHIPPED DIRECTLY FROM CONVERSE & CO., so if you require insurance you must use a 3rd party shipper. We recommend our local UPS Store (store1152@theupsstore.com). In some situations, we can arrange to deliver items. With all shipping, the transaction is between you and your chosen shipper. Regardless of how your items are shipped, we require notification of your plans (preferably in writing) when making your payment. If you wish to use the UPS Store, we will give them your pertinent information and they will contact you directly after payment is received. If you fail to make shipping arrangements, we will move your items to storage and a storage fee will be incurred. Eventually we may resell your items, using proceeds to pay for storage.
USING OUR RECOMMENDED UPS SHIPPERS: If you request our recommended UPS stores to pack & ship your item(s), you will receive an estimate from them after payment is made to Converse for your auction purchase(s). The UPS store(s) will quote a packing & shipping cost (including a discount on the packing). After your approval and payment, they will pick up your items, pack, and send them to you. It may take up to two weeks to get a quote from them. If you would like a shipping quote before the sale, email either of the recommended stores giving the lot number(s) and your address.

ITEM PICKUP: Items will be available for pickup on November 13th and 14th at 1128 Greenhill Rd., West Chester, between 10:30 and 4:00. For other pickups, give us at least 24 hours notice and be prepared to pick up at another address nearby the storage on Greenhill Rd.
