GERMAN BISQUE CHILD BY KESTNER. Marks: made in Germany 168. 18 ½". Bisque socket head, blue sleep eyes with original applied upper lashes and painted lower lashes, feathered brows, open mouth, accented lips, square-cut upper teeth, blonde human hair wig over plaster pate, Kestner composition and wooden ball-jointed body stamped "Germany" on back, cotton dress with feather-stitched detail, matching bonnet, newer white shoes. Commentary: Fine quality bisque and decoration, excellent original body with original finish, one tooth slightly uneven with the rest, otherwise excellent condition.
