Monumental Chicago Mosaic, "Mosaic Shade Company," Chicago, Illinois, leaded glass lamp. Arguably Chicago Mosaic's premier and most sought after lamp. This seldom seen Water Lilly leaded glass lamp was most likely manufactured in response to the well received Water Lilly leaded lamps made by Duffner and Kimberly, and Wilkinson. The lamp stands a sizable 24 1/2" tall to top the finial, and has a whopping 22" shade that is comprised of gorgeous striated turquoise, red-orange, caramel, and white glass. The top of the shade is patterned in a rare fish scale pattern. The shade is in original condition having maybe one or two minuscule heat checks. The leading original dark chocolate patina. The base a busy Fleur de Lis accentuated by beadwork and fine decorative arches. Condition: superb. You will be hard pressed to find one as exceptional as this. Surely a focal point in any decor.
