Susan B. Anthony Letter

SUSAN B. ANTHONY.
Autograph Letter Signed, “Susan B. Anthony,” in light brown ink, on “National American Woman Suffrage Association” letterhead, June 22, 1905, Rochester, NY, Choice Very Fine. Accompanied by original transmittal envelope, stamped and dated, and addressed to “Miss Catherine Goggins” of Chicago, Illinois. Normal folds, one small edge split in upper edge, not affecting writing in the least. The famed suffragist and “Honorary President” of the National American Woman Suffrage Association writes about “Miss Haley”--who apparently is ill: “...I am very sorry she has been so ill. I do hope for her complete recovery. She must take good care of herself and when she is well I shall want [to] talk over things with her...” (2 items)
