Legendary Signatures and Photos of Roger Maris--The Year After He Broke Babe Ruth’s Record!

Magazine Page Signed and Inscribed, “Best Wishes, Roger Maris” in blue ballpoint pen on a page of an in-flight magazine, 1962, 11” x 8”, Choice Extremely Fine. Also included are two 3.5” x 3.5” photographs taken during the plane ride. One is of Roger Maris and the other of Maris, his teammates, and a stewardess. The page that was signed was a page article on “Casey’s Best”, listing his records and team members. The main picture is Maris swinging the bat. This autograph was obtained in 1962, one year after Maris broke Babe Ruth’s single-season home run record. Magazine page has fold creases; else this collection is in excellent condition. (3 items)
