1849 Zachary Taylor Indian Peace Medal, Large Size in Bronze, Very Choice Uncirculated.
Julian IP-27, 76 mm, struck at the United States Mint from dies by Henry K. Brown and John Reich. The reverse die is a replacement that was first used in 1846. Small, old pinscratch beneath the hands on the reverse. Choice, golden-brown surfaces. A pleasing example of this large, impressive medal.
