Original Drug Test Report After Lennon Assassination. An incredible piece relating to one of the darkest moments in music history, presented here is the original drug test report on Mark David Chapman, ordered by New York City Police the day after Chapman fatally shot and killed John Lennon. Administered December 9, 1980 by a Dr. Small and finalized on December 11, 1980, this official doctor's chart copy shows that Chapman tested positive for Glutithimide (a primary chemical in "Quaaludes") and showed traces Quinine (an element used in many gin and tonic drinks). This test, evaluated through urine samples, was administered by authorities to determine Chapman's mental state at the time of his heinous act.
