Roy Orbison Pen and Ink Drawing

This is an original pen and ink drawing by Rock and Roll legend Roy Orbison. The "Administration" drawing was first sketched in pencil and then drawn in ink and features a principal seated as his desk with his arms encircled around state championship football trophy. Mr. Orbison produced the drawing for use as section dividers for the Wink, Texas 1953 High School Annual where Roy Orbison was the 1953 annual staff art editor. The piece is drawn on heavy cardboard and measures 9" W x 12 ½" H. The drawing is signed in the lower right hand corner. A Xerox copy of the 1953 Annual accompanies the lot. Very good condition.
