Ann Baxter Herringbone Jacket & Skirt

Anne Baxter wore this lovely two-piece outfit in her roll as Julia Norman in the 1948 classic film "The Walls of Jericho". The ensemble consists of a long-sleeved lined jacket and long skirt of fabric in a small herringbone pattern. Black velveteen cuffs, faux pockets and lapels accentuate the jacket. The size is small. Black cuffs were added and the buttons exchanged for those currently on the jacket. The labels inside both pieces read: Western Costume Co., Ann Baxter. The skirt label reads: Walls of Jericho, as well. All sizes are approximate. A photo of a screen test of Ms. Baxter wearing the outfit accompanies this lot.
