Mia Farrow Costume from Great Gatsby

This lot consists of a 3-piece dress, shoes, hat, video and lobby card. The three-pieced dress has a pale yellow silk, sleeveless underslip. Over that is a pale yellow chiffon dress with an uneven hemline, a drop waist, beadwork at the V-neck and at the low waist area with groups of tiny pleats that fall downward. The left sleeve is long, but torn at the shoulder. The right sleeve is completely missing with a rip down to the waist. The dress measures 30 in. at the waist area with a 43 in. length. The dress, covered by a pale yellow and off-white chiffon cape-like overpiece, has a delicate chain decoration at the neck with an open front and back. Tiny buttons near the top hold the back slit together, the sides are longer, and tiny pleats run downward from the neck. This piece is in good condition but has several small holes near the hem. A pair of off-white 1920's style leather shoes comes with the lot. The shoes have three straps and low heels. A strap on the left shoe is torn and the right shoe has a 1in. diameter hole through the sole of the shoe. They are a size 5. The condition is poor-fair. A delicate wide-brimmed, floppy hat is included. It is made of fine mesh netting with a straw stripe that spirals from the brim to the top. It is in good condition. An 11 x 14-original lobby card of the 1974 film "The Great Gatsby" comes with the lot. Pictured are Robert Redford and Mia Farrow is wearing the above described outfit. The poster has a 7 in. vertical crease across the top, several small creases and is in a scratched plexiglas frame. The lot also includes a videotape of "The Great Gatsby".
