Ann Miller Costume from The Love Boat

Ann Miller wore this bright, tropical, 2-piece outfit in a large musical number in "The Love Boat" television series. This distinctive, fantasty costume, designed by Nolan Miller, has light and dark blue sequins applied to royal blue chiffon in a diagonal pattern. The lined bodice has a shoulder strap on the right with the edge trimmed with pleated tulle in yellow, red, green and blue with colored sequins. The same effect is used at the hem and up the edges of a thigh-high slit on the left side of the skirt. Tulle also borders the long train in the back. The torso measures 33 in., the waist 26 in. and from the top of the shoulder to the netting at the hem is 64 in. Included is a matching panama-style hat, decorated with rhinestones and a large multi-color feathered Amazon parrot. The circumference of the hat is 21 in.
