Meyers George II inkstand, copied from Robert Innes 1745. Inkstand of rectangular form on four paw feet, the edge with gadroon molding and shell centers with three raised rings for well, sander and box, and a depression for pen, with its sander. Marked on base of inkstand "M" sterling and handmade, the sander marked sterling. Also an inkpot of turned waisted body with molded foot, detachable cap, pierced four time for quills, marked on base "M" and sterling, a desk bell with turned handle, unmarked. Tray is marked M 2.75" L.
