Signer of Declaration of Independence. Last page of an ALS, "L Hall", 1p, (1789), 4to, to Caesar A Rodney (1772-1824), son of fellow signer Caesar Rodney (1728-84). "...then he may perhaps inform you but to me he says there no conversation about the Election. I am sorry the situation of your family was such as not to admit of you attending this Court - make my Complt to Mrs Rodney..." Docketed on verso, "From Lyman Hall of Ga, October 1789." Inlaid. Some soiling and toning, mostly at folds. Overall VG. Boldly signed. Scarce.
