"...then he may perhaps inform you but to me he says there no conversation about the Election. I am sorry the situation of your family was such as not to admit of you attending this Court - make my Complt to Mrs Rodney..." Docketed on verso, "From Lyman Hall of Ga, October 1789." Inlaid. Some soiling and toning, mostly at folds. Overall VG. Boldly signed. Scarce.
