That the western Shore Treasurer pay to Thomas Johnson Junr Paymaster of the Barges two hundred Pounds out of the money appropriated for the Barges on account..." Signed on verso by Johnson, after the words "Defence of the [Chesapeake] Bay", acknowledging receipt of payment. Couple of minor pinholes. Light soiling, o/w VG.
