Lot of 3 albumen photographs, including the following: an untitled image of an aged man in an artist's studio, seated at an easel painting a portrait of an older gentleman, with Landy's Cincinnati, OH imprint on mount below image, 4.5 x 5.75 in. image, 5.75 x 9.75 in. overall; a charming view of a young boy and girl gathering eggs, titled The Hen's Nest, with M.M Griswold's Lancaster, OH imprint on mount below image, 4 x 5.5 in. image, 6 x 9.5 in. overall; and an untitled image of a young boy in tattered clothing reading the newspaper, with banner that reads Sensitized Paper Co. Manufacturers / Scovill Manufg. Co. Trade Agents printed on mount below image, plus Specimen Picture on Ready Sensitized Paper printed above, 4 x 5.5 in. image, 6 x 9.5 in. overall. These originally appeared as tipped-in additions to the Philadelphia Photographer.
