An amethyst and diamond cluster ring. The circular-shape amethyst within an old European-cut diamond surround to the plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Stamped plat.
The ring is in overall good condition. The amethyst has a deep hue with slight uneven colour saturation. Abrasion can be seen to the facet edges. The diamonds are bright and lively. A few are chipped/nicked. The claws may have been re-tipped to the amethyst setting. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen, general wear. Ring size K 1/2.
