A nice pair of Greek terracotta heads. The first is from Ptolemaic Egypt, c. 2nd - 1st Century BC, and depicts the goddess Isis wearing a solar headdress, H: 3 1/2" (8.7 cm), the second depicts a lady wearing a diadem, c. 4th - 3rd Century BC, traces of original paint remaining, H: 2 1/4" (5.7 cm). Ex Dr. Gilles collection, Germany, acquired prior to 1970.
