Asian male figure and tree of simulated gemstones and dyed ivory (not tested) in gilt metal wire, signed Hobé, 1944, 3 ˝" long. Excellent condition. The Hobé company called this brooch "Thibetan Chessmen" and brooches of this type were sold at their Beverly Hills shop.
