East Indian-inspired motif of simulated rubies, emeralds and diamonds in gilt metal, signed Kenneth Lane, late 1960s. Necklace is 16" long; pendant 3 3/4" long; bracelet is 6 ½" long; ear clips are 2 7/8" long. Excellent condition. The original of this necklace was made by Kenneth Jay Lane for Jacqueline Onassis to duplicate the necklace made of precious stones given to her by husband Aristotle Onassis. A similar necklace is on page 136 in the book Kenneth Jay Lane: Faking It by Kenneth Jay Lane and Harrice Simons Miller, 1996, Harry N. Abrams.
