We at CNY Book Auctions are pleased to be working with both The Boyce Thompson Institute for plant research, located here in Ithaca, New York on the Cornell University campus, and Mann Library, part of the Cornell University Library System. This particular auction lot is from the books that have been sent to us by Mann Library, not from the BTI library de-accession. Coincidentally, Mann has included many antique and scarce botany titles as well as approximately 1,200 cookbooks. Condition/Details:This scarce volume is an early publication from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Division of Forestry, cataloging the various types of trees found in the United States. The softcover volume is lacking is rear cover, and has some chipping and wear to the front cover and title page. The binding is intact and the pages are bright and clean.
