Rare circa 1890. This beautiful piece will work on American nickels which go into a slot and fall into a drawer on the side of the base. The bird sings and the head and tail move. The bellows are slightly weak but remain in fine working order. The bird cage shows normal wear for the age of the piece but is an exceptional find. Measures 21 1/2" tall. The hexagonal shaped base measures 9 1/2" at the widest part. Estimate $2,500 - 3500
