Fine example of the saddlemakers trade, made by Rolland Armke, circa 1955, for "Sam's Western Store" in Beaumont, Texas. Rolland had the Star C Saddle Shop, inside the store. This saddle was acquired by C D Fergeson, and used in his rodeo act for his monkey and dog show. Not very often you see a true salesman sample that has been used.
