Two Japanese Snuff Bottles, 19th C.

Two Unusual Japanese Export Metal Snuff Bottles, 19th Century One in a gourd form with gold leaf floral designs and ivory stopper. Second with large floral scenes on both sides, a screw down top and serpent form handles connecting to a pocket chain. Gourd Form Bottle: 3" Height x 1" Width (at widest point); Second: 2 1/2" Height x 1 3/4" Width Gourd form bottle with some minor losses to gold leaf; Second with slight paint rubbing to bottom point.
