A hollow round-bottomed Delaware River decoy with glass shoe button eyes. The decoy is held together with four-plugged screws. "A. B. Vance, Nov 12 1875" is written in pencil inside the top half of the bird. Judge Vance was a 19th Century court justice in Philadelphia, PA.
Original paint with wear to the wood and gunning wear including two small holes in the underside.
