The wheel was once used at Red Berry's Mansion, San Antonio's Most Famous Illegal Gambling House Until Confiscated in a 1935 Raid By Texas Sate Police & Texas Rangers. (See Photo) The Wheel was originally made for the Saratoga Casino in New York. Was Later Purchased by San Antonio Gambler Red Berry. Red Berry later went on to become a Texas politician who represented San Antonio in both the Texas House of Representatives and the Texas Senate in the 1960s. He was also widely known for his involvement in gambling in the San Antonio area starting in 1934 when he opened the Turf Club. He was famously part of the San Antonio Gambling scene until the late 1950s when his political career began.
