Description

Marine Ivory Cane-English, first half of the 19th Century-Ivory right hand with integral frilled collar clenching a ball, Stepped partridge with a brass ferrule. Great feel of age. The theme of the hand has been often the subject of many experts and is generally taken for a Free Mason's attribute. Though a fist gives the feel of power and authority and might have, in combination with a snake, ties with medicine. H. 2" x 1 ", O.L. 33 " $800-$1,200
