Dual Purpose Time Keeper Cane-Switzerland, late 19th Century- White metal cased watch knob with a quality cylinder movement and patented bezel winding system. Hinged and spring oper­ated unfolding glass cover, enamel dial with Roman scale and signed "BREVETE" and blue steel hands with a tiny setting knob in the center of the lunette. A patent for this watch was delivered in 1888 to Albert Bertholet and Louis Burry. Haldi in Bienne, Switzerland. Working.-H. 1 ¾" x 1 ½", O.L. 37 ½" $1,500-$2,000
