Artist: STEPHAN KROTOWSKI (1881-?) Size: 34 1/2 x 22 5/8 in./87.5 x 57.5 cm Curt Behrends, Berlin Still in production today, Söhnlein Rheingold is a German sparkling wine producer based in Wiesbaden. Founded in 1864, it took the name 'Rheingold' from Richard Wagner's epic Ring Cycle, emphasizing the company's German heritage while also giving it a flair of the fanciful. Under Kaiser Wilhelm I, it became the official champagne with which to christen new warships in the country.
