Artist: DIOGO CÂNDIDO DE MACEDO (1889-1959) Size: 29 1/8 x 41 1/4 in./74 x 104.5 cm Raul de Caldevilla, Portugal Although primarily a sculptor, Macedo's abilities as a draftsman were briefly appreciated by various printing firms. In style not dissimilar to Schnackenberg, he presents here a angular grande dame, eerily leering at a glass of chocolate-infused liqueur.
