Russian silver hippopotamus figure. Finely crafted. Has cabochon bezel set garnet stones to eyes. Holds Julius Rappaport Cyrillic I.P. workmaster marks to bottom. Holds 84 silver purity marks with town marks. Measures 1 1/2" height x 3 1/4" length x 1 5/8" width (3.8cm x 8.2cm x 4.1cm). Total weight of 2.515 ozt / 78 grams.
