Warren Y. Soper, Canadian, late 1900's-deceased. Realistic oil on panel rendering of a forest gleaming with the white bark trunks of birch trees lush with foliage and soft grasses reflecting the suns light on a summer day. Artist, Warren Y. Soper created this landscape in a genuine depiction of the landscape in Ekwanok, Vermont during the 1980's. Signed by artist W.Y. Soper, front, lower right corner and dated 1980. Reverse reveals canvas panel origin; "Fredrix", title; "Birches Ekwanok", artist; Warren y. Soper, medium; oil, date; Nov. 1980. Authenticity guaranteed.
