Exquisite hand carved Japanese ivory figure depicting a peach merchant with his son. The young boy is depicted handing a peach up to his father as he is placing peaches into his woven basket. Finely carved throughout with high attention to detail. 19th/20th century. Signed to bottom. Measures 11 1/8" height (28.2cm). Total weight of 1205 grams.
