Japanese hand carved wood and ox bone wise man figure. Finely carved and etched throughout. He is depicted with lingzhi stalk and scroll. Has inlaid polychromed ox bone plaques to robe. Signed to red plaque on bottom. 20th century. Measures 9 1/8" height (23.1cm). Total weight of 656 grams.
