Stunning palace sized hand carved Chinese Shoushan Tian Huang dragon mountain. Intricately carved to depict flying dragon breathing fire with dragon jewel, clouds and water. Exquisite detail throughout. Has etched polychromed calligraphy to front. Massive glowing specimen of yellow Shoushan stone. 20th century. Includes fitted wooden base with Etruscan pattern to side. Measures 11 5/8" height x 18 1/2" length x 4" depth + 2 3/8" base height (29.5cm x 46.9cm x 10.1cm + 6cm). Total weight of approx. 30.15 pounds / 13000 grams. Excellent gift to consider or item to add to a collection as 2012 is the year of the Dragon according to the Chinese Zodiac.
