Chinese hand carved ivory figure depicting a grape farmer. He is shown with grape shears to right hand and large vine with grape clusters to right hand. By his feet is a large woven basket full of grape clusters. Figure is completed with earth form base. Fine detail throughout. 19th/20th century. Measures 7 1/8" height + 1 1/4" base height (18cm + 3.1cm). Total weigh including base 785 grams.
