Chinese hand carved malachite Guan Yin figure. Intricately fully relief carved throughout to depict Guan yin holding a fruit basket while being suspended by rushing water. Around her is clouds with full moon above her. 19th/20th century. Includes fitted wooden teakwood base with silver inlay. Measures 9 1/2" height x 5 3/4" width + 1" base height (24.1cm x 14.6cm + 2.5cm). Malachite weight of 1438.
