Remington Model 58 .44 Caliber Revolver

Produced during the Civil War, the Remington New Model 1858 Army Revolver was by far superior to the Colt due to the fact that the frame had a top strap where the Colt model 1860 did not. A good original example of that historical model featuring an 8 in. barrel. Serial number 119463.

Please note, this gun is grouped among Antique Pre-December 31, 1898 Produced Firearms, not subject to Federal Gun Laws. Overall in worn condition with little blue finish intact. Metal pitting on frame and barrel, walnut grips in very good condition.
