U.S. Springfield Trapdoor Muzzle Load Rifle

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

Model 1873, produced 1884 with engraving "U.S. Springfield 1873." A notation states it was purchased in 1909 in Richmond, Indiana. It has a 31.5 in. round barrel, wood frame and a stock with no receptacle in the crescent metal butt stock. Serial number 421644.

Please note, this gun is grouped among Antique Pre-December 31, 1898 Produced Firearms, not subject to Federal Gun Laws. Very original gun showing minor wear from age. The metal is in very presentable order throughout.
