Early 20th century, French or Italian. The serpentine white veined Rouge Royal marble inset top with rounded inset corners, above a frieze carved with a foliate cartouche flanked by Baroque bearded masks, the central glazed door flanked by glazed curved sides, above a shaped skirt carved with a foliate cartouche and raised lion's paw feet. Appears to be a restored original piece but remains highly presentable. Superior quality, minor losses to gilt, good quality thick marble. 46x60x36 inches.
