OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

Circa 1860-1880. With a deep red patina, the elaborately carved arched crest centered by a boar flanked by spaniels, over an egg-and-dart carved cornice, the frieze with carved foliage centering an armorial device quartered and carved with bands and two stars, the projecting center section raised on griffin supports, with two glazed arched doors opening to shelves, flanked by open shelved sides carved with pendant foliage; the lower part with a molded waist, over two frieze drawers and a pair of cabinet doors, each carved with a fowl or fish trophy, the convex sides also fitted with drawers and a cupboard. Excellent condition, strong good color and surface, well carved. 99x127x22 inches.
