Circa 1900, illuminated. Patinated white metal sculpture of Eurydice, the wife of Orpheus, illuminated with leafy branches, atop a signature-inscribed plinth. Illumination device possibly a later edition, plinth added. Somewhat worn condition, however, still presentable with extensive polishing marks throughout. 19x35 inches.

&cf. Louis Moreau (French, 1855-1919) was the son of one of Europe's most influential and noted 19th century sculptors, Auguste Louis Moreau.
